NORDEN - the nordic arts festival

GERMAN SIGN LANGUAGE

The students of the Georg-Wilhelm-Pfingsten-Schule will introduce you to the world of German Sign Language.

We are the school for students with hearing impairment of the State Center for Hearing and Communication in Schleswig. Here at our school we can go to school from the first to the tenth grade. We have great classrooms with very good acoustic and media conditions. This helps us to understand. Our teachers communicate with us either in adapted spoken language, with supportive signs or in German Sign Language.

This is what we teach you:
You will learn from us how to greet each other, to introduce yourself and to sign simple sentences!


By the way: Last year we were at the NORDEN Festival with our sign choir and accompanied a band during their performance - so also in 2023. On August 31st we will accompany the band Make a Move during a song with our sign choir.
