GREENPEACE POETRY SLAM
What does war sound like?
Dangerously quiet or booming loud - or completely different? What do gunshots actually sound like? If it came down to it, could we really recognize them as such? If we are honest: Probably not. We have no idea. And yet a lot of opinions.
In cooperation with Greenpeace Germany, Sonali Beher asks in her poetry slam what we, who only know peace, really understand about war. It is an endurance of questions without answers, a sober contemplation in the mirror that wants to know: How do we encounter stories that are foreign to us? And if we don't know them, does that also mean that we have nothing to do with them?
