Preservation against food waste
In Germany, more than 10 million tons of groceries, of which large proportions could still be used, are discarded every year. At the same time, a lot of German children don’t have the money to buy a hot meal for lunch.
We are Moritz, Nick, and Ole and we want to tackle this problem by saving fruit and vegetables from being trashed and turning them into fruit spreads and chutneys. With every sold jar, we will donate 1 Euro to MachMittag, an organization that provides disadvantaged children with hot meals at their schools in the city of Kiel.
