Macramé adornments
Hosted by Carmen Ripper
Macramé is a form of textile that is produced using knotting techniques and believed to have originated with 13th-century Arab weavers. In this one-hour workshop, you will be taught an easy macramé knot. Subsequently, you will be knotting colorful ribbons that can be used as wristbands, ankle bracelets, bandeaus, keychains, and many more.
You will be accompanied and supported by Carmen Ripper, a knitwear designer, course instructor, and joint owner of a design shop in Hamburg Ottensen.
