Art talk Johannes Raum with Sarah Roloff
Illustrator Sarah Roloff will introduce her pin-up calendars. In her "I might be nerdy, but I´m sexy as hell" calendars, she takes revenge on the nude drawing courses of her art studies.
Classical nude painting wasn't something she particularly enjoyed. Proportions, light and shadow never worked out the way she'd intended. Years later, the idea of a pin-up calendar came up, in which she showed her unique way of illustrating pictures. As central topics, her illustrations deal with the human body, sexuality, and gender.
