NORDIC TALKING WITH AMINATA TOURÉ
Stefan Rychlak in conversation with the Deputy Minister-President and Minister for Social Affairs of Schleswig-Holstein
What drives the North – and who is driving it? This year’s guest on NORDIC TALKING is AMINATA TOURÉ. The Green Party politician is Deputy Minister-President and Minister for Social Affairs of Schleswig-Holstein and is shaping the debates on social cohesion, participation and social interaction in the North. Together with our presenter Stefan Rychlak (ARD-aktuell), she will discuss democracy and the challenges of our time. She will also talk about what has shaped her, what gives her hope, and how she views the region in which she lives and shapes policy. No party politics, no heated exchanges – just an open conversation about politics, personal experiences and the question of how we want to live together. A conversation to listen to, reflect on and take away with you.
At the Norden Festival, NORDIC TALKING brings people to the culture tent who have something to say: about politics, society and personal journeys.
Based on your feedback, we’re continuing to develop the format: alongside politicians, we’re now also bringing other influential voices from the north to the festival – people who spark debates, take responsibility and open up new perspectives.
The series is hosted by Stefan Rychlak, a journalist at ARD-aktuell and managing editor of the *tagesschau* news programme. NORDIC TALKING is all about questions big and small, honest conversations and straight-talking North German candour. So one thing’s for sure: let’s get straight to the point!
