Anderswo. Allein in Afrika

A film about an expedition, the search for adventure and for the self. I took nothing but my bike to explore the African continent. I never switched to bus or train and throughout my entire journey I did without buying drinking water. It was my goal to experience Africa the way it really was and to be close to its people and its natural flora and fauna. 

I filmed the entire journey myself. I kept putting up my little compact camera in order to ride by it. To take special pictures, I had to become creative and inventive. Alongside my tripod, trees, trucks, and donkey carts assisted me. On some occasions I handed the camera to people in the streets who enjoyed it as much as I did.
