Iris Gold (DK)
Iris Gold already played at the Élysée Palace at the invitation of Emmanuel Macron and in her native Denmark she was nominated "Best New Live Artist of the Year" in 2019. Look forward to the unbridled energy and soulful singing of the Dane with Jamaican roots!
With her energetic attitude, her natural charm, her soulful singing and not least her phonky rap flow, Iris Gold has impressed audiences all over Europe. So it's no wonder that Iris and her band played at more than 30 festivals in the summer of 2019. In June 2019 Iris released her long-awaited debut album "Planet Cool". Since then it has been a crazy ride for Iris Gold, who has quickly grown far beyond the Danish borders. She played for French President Emmanuel Macron when he invited her to the Élysée Palace in Paris. In August, she appeared at the Meltdown Festival with two legends, Nile Rodgers and Dave Stewart, on stage at the sold-out Royal Festival Hall in London. Shortly afterwards she played at the German Festival Kinerlitzchen & Wilde Möhre.
