Sven Amtsberg
Super fuzz.
He is a highly gifted entertainer, a literary “quack, duper, and window-dresser” (DIE ZEIT), an inventor of literary dimensions, a “master of the small form” and of hundreds, maybe thousands of wonderfully evil, uncompromising but gently melancholic, surreal, and in any case fantastic short stories that are soaked in black humor and step completely out of line. Last year marked the release of his first novel “Superbuhei”, a quirky, rousing debut that finishes with an unbeatable punchline involving the barkeeper Jesse Bronske, who once fled from his twin brother Aaron – and now feels haunted by him. Sven Amtsberg, who now lives by the Baltic Sea, will read short stories and present his novel.
