Sheeps E-Band

What started as a quartet back in 1978 has grown to nine full-blooded musicians today.

With the traditional opener Chicken Ska the Sheeps E-Band starts their show. In front of the stage, the first bars already get the fans going. Booming basses, fast riffs and melodic brass drive the mood up rapidly. Rainer Martini on the drums always keeps the tempo at the limit. The Sheeps on stage rock the hall and show that in over 40 years you can not only find your own style, but also still easily outshine some younger bands.
"We are not mainstream, that's not our thing," says Siggi. "Music has to be fun." Own pieces have to pass a hard test before they end up on stage. "Each of us puts a part to it, then the mosaic is put together, does everyone like it, then it is usually suitable for the stage," says the frontman of the band, which was probably the first to play ska in Schleswig-Holstein. Titles like Sheep Ska, Muchacha or Wonderful show that they are not wrong.
