NORDEN Slam

This year, too, the line-up of the poetry slam, which has been specially prepared for the NORDEN Festival, will glitter and shine with greats from the North German slam scene. Moderated by Björn Högsdal, Schleswig-Holstein's most experienced slam organizer and himself a well-known slam poet as well as a finalist in the German-language poetry slam championships. Poetry slam is a kind of modern poetry competition in which different word artists perform their self-penned texts live. They have only text and voice to inspire the audience, which judges the individual performances. The texts are as diverse as life itself: funny, sarcastic, emotional, thoughtful, poetic, philosophical, lyrical... A poetry slam offers more than classic poetry, comedy, cabaret, reading or satire by delivering everything in one evening. It is always designed as a competition in which randomly selected "jury members" from the audience choose the winner or the winner of the evening. This year live on Garten-stage with a view of the Schlei: Anneke Schwarck, Selina Seemann, Carina Hansen, Stefan Schwarck and Björn Katzur.
