DISKOPUNK (SWE)

DISKOPUNK from Sweden emerged in early 2016 and has since been spreading its supercharged live shows, self-proclaimed smash hits and musical shenanigans throughout Europe. The group describes their sound as a drugged ABBA: combining dance, post-punk, pop and rock'n'roll, the group has found a sweet spot in opposite worlds or else in the middle of a perfect world. Live, there's an aggressive boogie roller coaster ride to be experienced, alternating between ecstasy and despair while channeling their signature ironic banter and inviting the audience to fully participate in the experience. With only singles and an EP in their catalog, the Swedes are now releasing their debut album Filthy Boogie in 2022.
