TÜDELBAND
Fresh, platitudinous, nordic
DIE TÜDELBAND stands since 2009 for handmade music with detailed arrangements and Low German lyrics. With its compact band sound, the duo tours the big cities and "Niederøckelsdørfer" of this world. Mire Buthmann writes the songs, sings and plays guitar. Malte Müller plays drums, sings backings and operates the bass pedal.
Die Tüdelband proved in the Netherlands and in Bavaria that their Platt-Pop not only inspires the North German lowlands. In 2022, the duo represented the Low German language at the Liet International Festival, the "Eurovision Song Contest" for small and minority languages.
