With the charm of a French sidewalk café, bouncing feet and a little tear in the corner of your eye, Analogue Swing brings danceable swing music to a variety of venues.
With irrepressible joy in playing and improvising, Sophie Kockler, Laila Nysten, Freddy Schlender and Yves Ardelt let both original compositions and classics of hot club jazz sound in a new guise. In early 2020, the band first formed as a trio after studying together at the University of Music Lübeck with the unusual instrumentation of clarinet, violin and guitar. Two years later, supplemented by a second guitar, they can be experienced as a quartet on numerous stages in northern Germany. With their different musical roots in pop, world music, folk and classical music, they meet in the common passion of swing and provide a musical experience of extraordinary class, which seduces to drift, daydream and dance.
