Our two festival organizers Manni and Marno are really looking forward to this act, as they have been at the top of our booking wish list for a long time.

DOTA hits the nerve of their time and their music hits several. The music of the band around songwriter Dota Kehr bounces and dances, it pauses, jumps off the quarry pond jetty, swims and dives. She mixes folk and indietronica and lets her love of Brazilian music shine through here and there. Her lyrics are touching in their immediacy. Dota does not speak of the ivory tower, but of people here and now and their small triumphs and great abysses, their inadequacies in trying to be close and move in society.
