A BBC presenter said of him: "JJ, you're an absolute star, and when you make it big, don't forget us." African music has gained huge popularity worldwide in recent years and Danish-Tanzanian singer JJ Paulo is one of the strongest exponents in Northern Europe. He won the Danish Music Awards in the category "Live Act of the Year", performed in front of millions of spectators at the FIFAe World Cup and gave more than 75 concerts in Europe and Africa in 2023. Paulo's stage presence is second to none - his infectious blend of African rhythms and global music is something the Königswiesen will not soon forget.
