LUCIE GLANG from Kiel will inaugurate the Gartenbühne 2024 for us! Her music combines daydreams of breathing underwater with critical questioning of social norms and constructs. Their folk-pop songs blend uplifting Americana sounds with melancholic Scandinavian atmospheres. Inspired by her move from West to North Germany without knowing anyone, as well as solo travels through Asia, Lucie's introspective, vulnerable lyrics explore themes of loneliness, new beginnings and friendships.
