VIGGO BJERRING (DK)

VIGGO BJERRING made his debut in 2016 with the short story collection Balancekatten. In the same year, he published the short novel QWERTY, which was nominated for the Danish writing prize Den Svære Toer. Verdenshjertet (2021) was his first novel, and in 2022 he received a three-year working grant from the Danish Arts Foundation. Hjertets geometri is a sequel to Verdenshjertet, which was nominated for the Weekendavisen Literature Prize 2022.

Hannes Langendörfer, born in Heidelberg in 1975, studied Scandinavian and German studies in Freiburg and Uppsala. He lives in Berlin and works as a translator from Danish, Swedish and English.
