FLYING FISH

The ensemble from the AmaTaMia Theatre enchants the Königswiesen into a seemingly timeless place. With their large mouths, the FLYING FISH swallow the wind and inflate. Carried on long poles and playfully brought to life, the school of fish guides people from place to place.
Playing with the audience, the fish unleash the full force of their poetry: children try to catch them, soft silk caresses their faces, or dancing high above people's heads, they enchant and enrapture them into a world that is no longer everyday. The senses awaken.
The fish are illuminated from the inside as a play of lights in the dark. On the Schlei, they compete in dance with their own reflections in the water... A magical play of lights.
