CARLA Riveros Eißmann is a ‘record player’. Since the nineties. As one of the first female DJs in Hamburg, she started playing her first records in the Meanniebar, once above the Molotow on the Reeperbahn, and from then on she fascinated people all over Hamburg and beyond with her music and got them dancing. She says of herself: ‘I'm not a DJ, I play records.’ She prefers to play music that she has heard herself. ‘Electro was never my thing, although I now make electro music myself.’
