“When we see each other” is a song for Dariush Beigui. Dari has been active in sea rescue as a captain for years. Together with many other people, he has pulled thousands out of the Mediterranean over the years and saved them from drowning. In Italy, charges were brought against him and 21 other people involved in sea rescue. They were facing up to 20 years in prison. At the opening of the Cinemare Festival 2024, Dariush was able to announce that he had been acquitted.
