The NORDEN starts with a visit from Finland. Writer HANNA MERETOJA will be presenting her debut novel The Night of the Old Fires. A book about friendship, the sea and the love of life. The novel has been highly praised in Finland for its poetic language and clever reflections.

STEFAN MOSTER is responsible for the translation into German. The author and translator lives in Berlin and Provoo, Finland.
