A DAY WITHOUT WOMEN
On October 24, 1975, Iceland came to a standstill. 90% of women stopped working at work and at home and rallied. A day that changed Iceland forever. Almost 50 years later, today, the issues remain. Role types, inequality of opportunity, discrimination - women are not properly valued.
In A Day Without Women, the women of this generation talk about equality, how they were able to bring about lasting change in society and what we can take away from it.
