The NORDEN AIR GUITAR CONTEST is heading into the next round – and the atmosphere is set to sizzle once again! Who will deliver the best air guitar performance and win over the judges and the audience? Last year, our participants brought the garden stage to life with spontaneous guitar solos, rock star poses and an audience cheering them on loudly. Whether it’s full-throttle riffs or soulful ballads – in the end, only one thing counts: total dedication and pure fun!
All participants get free entry and free drinks in the backstage area, and may bring one guest with them. What’s more, the top three finishers stand to win fantastic prizes worth a total of over €400.
By the way: in the first year, 2024, Finnish air guitar pro Aapo “The Angus” Rautio ran a workshop for us, wowed the crowd with a show performance and sat on the judging panel – he’s now the reigning Air Guitar World Champion!
His verdict: “Air guitar brings communities and people together.” Speaking about the NORDEN competition, he says: “The light-hearted competition was a perfect fit for the festival, which created a wonderful sense of community for all participants.”

It is played on an imaginary guitar (electric or acoustic – it doesn’t matter)
You decide on the outfit – it should stand out!
There will be one round. Performances will be judged by a three-member panel and by our audience. The following criteria, amongst others, will be taken into account: originality, stage presence and artistic impression.
