The FILMFORUM is dedicated to northern Germany's diverse filmmaking and brings together short and feature-length fiction and documentary films, independent productions and great cinema. It offers the audience the opportunity to discover new works by established directors as well as unknown talents and artistic works beyond the mainstream. Works by North German filmmakers and films that were shot in the North or thematically highlight life in the North will be shown. Two programs, each 45 minutes long, will be shown.
