NORDIC TALKING

A talk with the Minister for Economic Affairs Claus Ruhe Madsen

Danish, Schleswig-Holstein native, minister – Claus Ruhe Madsen is back at NORDEN! This time, he will open the festival and then take the podium at NORDIC TALKING in the culture tent. Some see him as a popular figure and the personification of the CDU-led state government's coolness factor – the opposition, on the other hand, has sometimes complained that he is not taken seriously by business representatives. Let's see how he fares at Nordic Talking. We look forward to a discussion with the Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Labour, Technology and Tourism in Schleswig-Holstein!
Dry humour, cool temperament, not a word too many – that's how they are, the North Germans. At least that's what they say. But we'll still have good conversations! NORDIC TALKING is about politics and personal matters. Our guests are inspiring northerners who are committed to change and Nordic cohesion – find out more about their visions, goals and how they use their personal experiences to make the region even better: How do you shape the north? And what does the north do for you?
The series is moderated by journalist STEFAN RYCHLAK. He has been working at ARD-aktuell in Hamburg for more than 20 years and is the editor-in-chief of the tagesschau news programme. Rychlak works in the Hanseatic city, lives in Schleswig-Holstein and wants honest answers at Nordic Talking: Let's get down to brass tacks!
