ANNE SIEGEL

We welcome ANNE SIEGEL, a wonderful author and journalist, to NORDEN. She will be presenting her fifth book about Iceland, ‘Wo Islands wilde Seele wohnt’ (Where Iceland's Wild Soul Lives). In impressive stories, Anne Siegel recounts a life in close interaction with Iceland's harsh nature and offers fascinating insights into the everyday life, mentality and soul of Icelanders. As an author and radio journalist, she has inspired many readers with ‘Frauen, Fische, Fjorde’ (Women, Fish, Fjords) and the SPIEGEL bestseller ‘Wo die wilden Frauen wohnen’ (Where Wild Women Live). With her enthusiastic, infectious manner, she already won over the audience at the ‘Icelandic Evening’ at Slesvighus in spring 2025. Thanks to the support of NORDEN Freundeskreis e.V., we are now looking forward to her appearance in the Kulturzelt.
