AGASSI
This five-piece post-punk band from Hamburg came together quite unspectacularly during a conversation over the garden fence—when British singer and former professional soccer player Ben Galliers and producer Mark Tavassol (Wir sind Helden) decided to join forces. Also on board is Nina Müller, whom many still remember from her performance with Jupiter Jones at NORDEN. The result is AGASSI, a kind of supergroup with attitude – direct and emotional, with anarchic energy and dreamy indie moments. Snotty UK nonchalance meets North German pop craftsmanship – somewhere between post-punk and a “Neue Deutsche Welle” in English. We are very excited to see how this feels live at Königswiesen.
