NORDEN Festival 2024 // First Release
The first festival weekend of 2024 starts with familiar faces on the Schleibühne. After DENIZ & OVE had to cancel their performance this year due to illness, the organizers are very pleased that a new date has already been confirmed for next year. On Saturday, September 1, 2024, Deniz & Ove will play music that is not only made for children, but can also be heard and enjoyed by their parents.
With DOTA, a great wish of our organizers Manni and Marno comes true on the second festival weekend. The musician has been at the top of the booking wish list for some time, as her music hits the nerve of her time. The music of the band around songwriter Dota Kehr bounces and dances, it pauses, jumps off the quarry pond jetty, swims and dives. She mixes folk and indietronica and lets her love of Brazilian music shine through here and there. Her lyrics touch with their immediacy.

After LUCKY LO's performance at this year's Reeperbahn Festival, it was clear to us that the Swedish singer-songwriter absolutely had to be invited to Schleswig. On the third weekend of the festival, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, she will be playing at the Königswiesen. For the profound listener, her alternative pop is lush, colorful and surprising. For the dancer, it's groovy, funky and cheerful. And for those looking to connect, it's empathetic, honest and real. Another wish on our booking list: JON FLEMMING OLSEN. He took part in the Eurovision Song Contest with Texas Lightning and came back with gold, platinum and the No. 1 hit No No Never. You can experience him live as an impressive one-man band and subtle entertainer on Sunday, September 15, 2024, on the Garden Stage. A very special festival finale in the coming year.

On Thursday, September 12, 2024, BRTHR will be performing on the Garden Stage at the NORDEN Festival. Their timeless Americana songs, which taste of southern soul but also of cowboy folk, are so fluffy and beautifully laid back that you can't resist them. FORWARD come from the suburbs of Hanover and make multi-layered indie pop with a brilliant live sound, characterized by big band horns, glittering guitars, retro synth sounds and an animating rhythm section.
