NORDEN - the nordic arts festival

ERNEUERBARE. ZUKUNFT. JETZT by watt_2.0 e.V.

Global warming, rising sea levels and environmental pollution are the issues that preoccupy society and politics and draw masses of young people onto the streets. There is a demand to finally implement measures so that the politically agreed climate goals are achieved instead of focusing on sitting out and discussing climate adaptation. What is already being done to make energy supply emission-free and sustainable and what society and politics can and should do are the topics of the slots that the renewable energy industry association watt_2.0 e.V. will realise from 26 to 29 August 2021 during the NORDEN Festival in Schleswig.

Together with member companies and cooperation partners, the first festival weekend will address, among other things, the sustainability goals and the key importance of "energy", present approaches to the energy turnaround by society, business, politics and local authorities, and introduce projects such as "bee flowering meadow" and "self-power supply". The festival visitors will learn interesting facts about Schleswig-Holstein and get to know the approaches and linking of sustainability aspects of different actors in the energy transition state. The slots around "Renewable.Future.Now. offer space for the exchange of experiences and discussions to address the topics of sustainability, climate protection and energy. The active participation of the guests in this offer is expressly desired, because energy transition is a task for society as a whole and for all generations. Summer of CoCreation
EVENT TIP
05.09. - 07.09. Königswiesen, Schleswig

At the Summer of CoCreation you can expect a diverse program around topics of digitalization in the city of Flensburg and the districts of Nordfriesland and Schleswig-Flensburg, which want to become the Smart Border Region between the Seas. A central component is the presentation of projects and prototypes that are being developed jointly - i.e. co-creatively - by actors from the region. These first "plietsche" implementation ideas from different subject areas from public services to open data should make the region fit for the present and the future. All visitors are invited to get to know these first implementation projects and to give feedback and suggestions on the project ideas to the developers on site.
